After several days of detention in Germany on suspicion of stealing from the Primark store in Berlin, the court ordered the release of the mother and daughter. They were both fined 1,750 euros.
As we reported last week, the mother and daughter went on a shopping spree while on a trip to Berlin. They were arrested on suspicion of stealing from the Primark store.
During the hearing, the mother and daughter denied the charges against them, but admitted that they were unintentionally outside the shop with items from the store they had not paid yet for. They explained that they had every intention to return and pay, allowing them to be released.
